When are the 2016 Oscars on TV? Are they streaming?
Leonardo DiCaprio has starred in many movies and of course been nominated for a few too. This year it’s easier than ever to watch one of the biggest nights in Hollywood while on the go.

Among those walking the red carpet will be recently announced presenters Morgan Freeman and John Legend, along with Oscar host, Chris Rock. “The Revenant” was also nominated for pack-leading 12 Oscars, often a good indicator of best picture strength.
The Oscar night will take pace on February 28, starting from 5:30 pm (L.A. time).
The Academy Awards celebrate the best in film, but the ceremony isn’t exactly a popularity contest.
In regards to this year’s awards, Willmott would not say who he believed would win only that they would definitely be white.
He’s up against Adam McKay (“The Big Short”), Tom McCarthy (“Spotlight”), George Miller (“Mad Max: Fury Road”) and Lenny Abrahamson (“Room”).
The Oscars may be about pageantry, tedium and – oh, yeah – honoring the best cinematic efforts of the year, but this season, there’s been an addition to the usual niceties: #OscarsSoWhite. DiCaprio faces Redmayne (“The Danish Girl”), Bryan Cranston (“Trumbo”), Matt Damon (“The Martian”) and Michael Fassbender (“Steve Jobs”).
Best actress: What started out as a competitive category, featuring the likes of two-time victor Cate Blanchett (“Carol”) and the popular Jennifer Lawrence (“Joy”), has turned into Brie Larson’s to lose.
Viewers around the world will tune in to see who wins at Tinseltown’s most prestigious prize ceremony, but controversy over the “whitewashing” of nominations has threatened to steal more headlines than the tough competition. The nominations brought to fore racism debate and pointed at the lack of diversity as no black actor was nominated in the top Best actor/actress categories.
