Following Thursday night’s heated Republican debate, Texas Senator Kevin Eltife says Trump is using Christie’s endorsement to spin the media attention.
(CNN)Shortly after endorsing Donald Trump, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie on Friday told some of his top fundraisers that the billionaire businessman might shift from his decision to self-fund his campaign and instead raise money in a general election.
Christie said Trump was hands-down the better choice than Rubio, a first-term senator who “didn’t show up for work”.
As Trump’s rivals stepped up their criticism, a pro-Rubio super PAC announced plans to start running Trump attack ads in key states on Friday.

Anne Duffy, 60, a health care consultant in Dallas, said she prefers Rubio because he isn’t a “bully” like Trump. The charade is up.
“Desperate people do desperate thing, s” Christie said of Rubio. A guy who has made a career out of telling people lies so they’ll come in and buy his product.
Rubio didn’t stop there. The blue print is clear: perform well enough in the upcoming primaries to become the consensus alternative to Mr Trump, and then defeat him in a head-to-head sprint for the nomination.

The state Democratic party, however, was quick to connect Baker to the endorsement and call on him to publicly back a candidate. That I can tell you. “The idea that Marco Rubio can get inside Donald Trump’s head is an interesting proposition”.
