As far as her dad, Steve, it seems safe to say that his legacy is in good hands.

Bindi was just eight years old when her dad Steve, “The Crocodile Hunter”, was killed by a stingray in 2006.
“There is someone special in my life right now, and I’m really happy with that”, Bindi told ET. I have the most attractive souls in my life supporting me and helping me to follow my dreams. She is opening up a bit about her life these days, though she isn’t sharing too much in the way of specifics when it comes to her boyfriend.
There’s no telling how Bindi is going to spend her special day, but it’s possible it’ll include one very special person.
If it were up to her father, there’d be a test of courage and survival skills, too.

“Dad always said you can’t date till you’re 40, and he has to be able to swim across our largest crocodile pond before he can go out with you”, she explained.
Bindi didn’t reveal her boyfriend’s name, but she has been seen hanging out with professional wakeboarder Chandler Powell.

Bindi has taken up her father’s love of wildlife conservation since his death in 2006 but continues to do normal teen things.
