Trump fired back at Rubio during his rally in Fort Worth.

He called Rubio “this wise guy, this lightweight”.
Christie made the endorsement the day after Rubio’s best debate performance, muting his long-awaited and damaging attacks against the billionaire businessman Trump on such issues as immigration, foreign policy and hiring practices.
Mr Rubio said that backstage at the debate, Mr Trump requested a full-length mirror, presumably, “to make sure his trousers weren’t wet”.
“I lived it, my parents lived it, we are going to defend and fight for that to reach more people than ever before”, said Rubio.
U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (L) points towards New Jersey Governor Chris Chr …
A former prosecutor, Christie has been mentioned in Republican circles as a possible future attorney general, but he said he had not been offered a position in any future Trump administration. “The idea that Marco Rubio can get inside Donald Trump’s head is an interesting proposition”.
Trump, meanwhile, is increasingly likely to be his party’s nominee. The New Jersey governor viewed the Florida Senator as a central casting candidate who always said the right things and looked the right way but, when you scratched the surface, you found nothing there.
Acknowledging “a sense of urgency”, Rubio continued where he left off Thursday night as he campaigned in Oklahoma and gave a series of interviews created to weaken his rival’s tightening grasp on the Republican nomination.
He shouldered heavy criticism from Rubio and Cruz at a Republican debate on Thursday but it is not yet clear whether this has hurt his popularity.
SEN. MARCO RUBIO: He’s going to Americans that are struggling, Americans that are hurting, and he’s implying, “I’m fighting for you because I’m a tough guy”.
At the start of the primary season, it was reported that the Rubio campaign was employing a 3-2-1 strategy on the way to winning the nomination: placing third in Iowa, second in New Hampshire and winning SC.
Cruz said the audit is all the more reason Trump should release the returns.
“Conservatives need to know who’s taking over the conservative movement right before they cast their vote on super Tuesday”, said Rubio.

Rubio also talked about the importance of the oil industry in the Permian basin and acknowledged the current downturn.
