The Golden Raspberry Awards, aka the Razzies, has become the popular judge of Hollywood’s worst material.

Despite the movie earning a few sequels that are already in the works, the forces behind the Razzies took down Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan- starrer Valentine’s Day flick really bad. Along with worst film, the erotic blockbuster made off with worst screenplay, actor (Jamie Dornan) and actress (Dakota Johnson). The awards ceremony comes the eve before the 2016 Oscar ceremony, and many past Oscar winners can be found on the RAZZIES list. There was a tie for Worst Picture of the Year, though, as Fantastic Four and Fifty Shades of Grey shared the honor. Josh Trank went home with Worst Director while the superhero film itself was deemed the Worst Remake/Rip-Off/Sequel. Redmayne won the best actor trophy at last year’s Academy Awards for portraying Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything”. Everyone is expecting Stallone to take the prize for the Best Supporting Actor Oscar on Sunday, but be careful people, the Academy is always known for surprises and I have a gut instinct that Mark Rylance “Bridge of Spies” might steal Stallone’s thunder.

A film poster for “Fifty Shades of Grey” is pictured at the Regal Theater in Los Angeles, California in this February 12, 2015 file picture.

Sylvester Stallone, nominated for an Oscar for his supporting role in “Creed” was also given a Razzie Redeemer Award – given to a past Razzie victor who appears in a movie that reignites or reinvigorates their career.

The awards are voted on by 943 members of the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation from 48 USA states and 20 foreign countries. “The $4.97 gold spray-painted Razzie Award is handed out to otherwise great talent who should know better than to associate their name with sub-par projects”, reads the awards’ Twitter bio.

Fifty Shades of Grey also took home worst actor for Jamie Dornan worst actress for Dakota Johnson and worst screen combo for the pair
