He claimed that neither Akali Dal, BJP nor Congress was serious about tackling the drug or corruption issue. “Rather Arvind Kejriwal needs to answer volunteers of the party and the people of Punjab and India as a whole whether he still holds on to the principles of transparency, accountability, Swaraj and inner-party democracy”.

“They want change and eager to get rid of traditional politics and political parties, which have ruined their Punjab”, Kejriwal said while addressing gathering here.

Kejriwal also claimed that no government could have achieved in 65 years what his government had accomplished in one year in Delhi.

Talking to media in Amritsar on Saturday night, he said he met various associations of traders who were not “happy” with the ruling government in Punjab because of “rampant corruption” in government departments.

Mr. Maken attacked the Kejriwal government for allegedly squandering the tax payers’ money in publishing “huge” advertisements.

State secretary Yadvinder Mehta said, ” On the one hand, AAP supports freedom of expression and backs JNU students and is sympathetic to the Rohith Vemulla case, on the other, the attack on the Indian youth Congress workers is unleashing goondagardi in Punjab.
