Bill Clinton headed to Rock Hill on Thursday
Former President Bill Clinton is to return to Oklahoma to campaign for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton has led Sanders in most SC polls for months, even after a narrow victory over the self-declared “democratic socialist” in Iowa earlier this month and going down in defeat to the insurgent candidate in New Hampshire.
He took a jab at GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, who won in South Carolina’s Republican primary last weekend. Bernie Sanders in Saturday’s primary.
“How great it will be to have President Clinton here in Beaufort County”, said Blaine Lotz, a Hillary Clinton supporter and chairman of the Beaufort County Democratic Party.
Bill Clinton cited Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments as USA secretary of state and as a US senator representing NY. “Hillary has all that in her platform, because we want everybody to work without having to give up being good parents”, Clinton said. “I don’t think America ever stopped being great”, Clinton said. Her campaign will open its Charlotte office Thursday night.
Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have several other events around SC before the primary on Saturday.
Both campaigns also are targeting independent voters, who are eligible to vote in the state’s Democratic primary for the first time in modern history.
