On top of that, a leaked Achievement list, which can be seen below, also indicates that college teams will be available in the upcoming basketball game. So far, the college teams included in the game are Arizona, Arizona State, Georgetown, Kansas, Louisville, Michigan, Texas, UCLA, UConn, Villanova, and Wisconsin.

A report from Pasta Padre suggests that the colleges licensed by 2K could appear in National Basteball Association 2K16, which features a trio of cover stars – Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, Houston Rockets guard James Harden and New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis. The subject of endless and heated debate, ratings can shape a fan’s entire opinion of the game, transforming it into either an ultra-realistic simulation or a target of derision.
While it’s not a fully-fledged school basketball recreation, the power to play for a minimum of a number of licensed school groups, for even a portion of the sport, is probably going a welcomed function for a lot of basketball followers. In 2013, the SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12 declined to license trademarks for future EA Sports games, in large part due to self-protection from legal punishment. EA then stopped publishing their NCAA basketball title the following year in 2009.
It’s unclear whether the 2K development could contribute to the eventual return of the NCAA Football series, which ended in the wake of O’Bannon. Perhaps it might add college teams to the title as a DLC after the launch.

But Hollywood movie directors aside, one of the most anticipated aspects of a 2K game remains the player and team ratings. That would allow gamers to go through college and eventual pro careers without replicating any likenesses, but with real school uniforms, logos and branding.
