Stacey Dash Explains Her Incredibly Uncomfortable Oscar Moment
While audiences had been eagerly anticipating Chris Rock’s Oscars performance, as well as those of all the announced presenters, viewers were treated to a last-minute appearance by none other than Stacey Dash.

Dash said earlier this year that she believes Black History Month should be eliminated.
The joke fell flat, perhaps because many people in the audience didn’t understand the reference.
Stacey Dash’s appearance at the 2016 Oscars was so awkward!
Teigen confirmed on Twitter that her hilarious reaction was in fact in response to Dash.
Next year they gonna nominate every black person they can find lol.
Stacey Dash was an actress who was in Clueless, but she’s mostly known these days for being a conservative Fox News pundit.
There were lighter moments at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday evening, on February 28. But guess what? I’ve heard that all my life.
This was a very freakish, nearly nonsensical joke, because Dash is a black woman who wants to end Black History Month. “I would rather be a free thinking, black than a cookie cutter black who thinks – and votes – just like all my friends”, the Clueless star explained about her odd bit. Well, Stacey slammed the Oscars boycott back in January, saying, “We have to make up our minds”.
I was making the face from the Stacey Dash moment ahhhhhhh not Sarah!
This isn’t the first time Dash has made controversial comments around race.
Stacey then walked out on the stage and spoke of helping out African Americans, without going into further details.

While we were left scratching our heads about her appearance, it seems some A-listers were just as puzzled.
