The Galaxy S7 Edge runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with Samsung’s updated TouchWiz operating system.

Samsung played it safe with the new Galaxy S7 phones, keeping the form factor and general aesthetics very close those of the S6. Both are hailed as the new must-have smartphones of both manufacturers, but as a consumer, which of the two is the better choice?

Samsung’s new devices will both sport an always-on display, which means users can get information at a glance without waking up their phones.

The initial factory price of the 32-gigabyte Galaxy S6 had stood at 858,000 won, while the Galaxy S6 Edge’s price tag was 979,000 won.

The buzz has just started to die down after the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S7 with its S7 Edge compatriot a few days ago.

Galaxy S7 Edge continues the trend of its S6 Edge and Note Edge predecessors by including an expanded, touchable screen area down the left and right edges of the device. For a limited time, new and existing Sprint customers can lease or buy one Galaxy S7 or S7 edge and get a second one for half the price.

Buyers are getting the same excellent experience as the regular Galaxy S7, only bigger, better, and with extra features.

The phones also boast of its waterproof and dust-proof design, and will come in four colors: black onyx, gold platinum, white pearl, and silver titanium.

The camera on these phones has been improved from the S6 series.

The S7 edge has a bigger 5.5-inch display QHD Super AMOLED display with a 534 PPI density compared to the 5.1-inch screen of the S6 edge. This lets you get a neat look at what was going on immediately surrounding the moments when you took the picture. Think again. A recent Samsung reveal has pretty much just changed all that.

Differences will for sure set in, especially because each company adds some tweaks to the hardware as well as the software provided by Google – Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
