Apple has yet to confirm the rumoured event. The launch event is likely to be organised at Apple’s Town Hall Centre in Cupertino, California, US. The new smaller iPhone should be announced at the Apple Event which is now said to be happening on the 21st of March instead of the 15th. While some of them reflects a refreshed iPhone 5/5s with upgraded internals, others stick to keeping iPhone 6s-like form factor.

Not everyone wants a big phone, and the latest rumours point to Apple returning to a 4in screen, the size used for the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C. The 4-inch iPhone is noticeably missing the 3D Touch components, which only supports earlier rumors. Apple are expected to start selling their new iPhone and iPad in the same week and the devices will probably hit retail around the 25th of March. Apple tends to take around a fortnight to get its new projects into shops, meaning we could see the new iPhone SE in shops by April.
Apple’s new mobile handset shall be named as iPhone SE (Special Edition) which is expected to be officially unveiled next month together with a 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
