Kopf was in a vehicle outside an area restaurant when she was shot, according to authorities.

Abigail Kopf’s family has announced on her GoFundMe website that she has been taken off the ventilator at Bronson Methodist Hospital and is breathing on her own.

Six people were killed – four at the restaurant and two at a vehicle dealership. “The tube is out she’s breathing on her own”, the post read.

The teen was among eight total victims who were shot at three different locations February 20.

The suspect, 45-year-old Jason Dalton, is charged in the attack in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

It’s been a weekend filled with funeral services, memorials, vigils and salutes at sporting events following a shooting rampage that left six dead last weekend.

Mary Jo was remembered for her commitment to teaching and her love for her neighbors.

“As Abbie’s doctors began talking about donating her organs after death, Abbie suddenly squeezed her mother’s hand”.

Kopf told CBS affiliate WWMT the sensation of having her hand squeezed was “breathtaking”.
