Reported by Entertainment Weekly, the duo is only signed on to appear in one episode as guest stars, so they’re not pulling focus away from Mulder and Scully.
What do you think about Robbie Amell’s X-Files casting?
The six-episode series premieres on January 24 on Fox following the NFC championship game.
Fox’s “The X-Files” follow-up has found a few new recruits to seek the truth that’s out there.
The two actors are in good company and will be guest stars along with The Americans’ Annet Mahendru, Flight of the Conchords’ Rhys Darby and Community’s Joel McHale. Mitch Pileggi will also return as Walter Skinner and William B.
Of course this casting news, and Amell’s budding film career leaves many to believe that the will not be reprising his role as Ronnie Raymond / Firestorm in Legends of Tomorrow.
