Including the postseason, Curry has made at least one three-pointer in 149 straight games, also a record.

February 25, 2016: Stephen Curry scored 51 points and set an National Basketball Association record with a three-pointer in his 128th consecutive game as the Golden State Warriors beat the Orlando Magic 130-114 on Thursday night. “I would say that Steph is on that level now”.

-Among qualified shooters, Kawhi Leonard leads the National Basketball Association in 3-point shooting percentage at 48.3 percent.

He scored 24 points in the third period, including his long bank shot as the buzzer sounded. Steph, that’s just what he does. LeBron James scored just 12 points – 13 below his average – and went 5 of 18 from the floor.

The round was a championship reward from Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who promised Curry and Andre Iguodala that if Golden State won the title he would use his connections and get them on the storied course. “With Steph, it’s actually true”. After losing 15-of-17 games, the Nets (16-42) have gone 4-4 in the last eight and the first game without Joe Johnson was an effective one.

“Fifty wins is great”, Curry said, “but we’ve got to keep plugging away and staying hungry, because nobody wants to talk about that in June”. “I swear I did”. And, yes, he has forgotten more basketball than I’ll ever know. He can hit contested three-point shots, but he can also use his ball-handling and quickness to get to the rim. Words can not describe how easy this dude makes the three-point shot look, and at this rate, defenders will have to start defending him at half court.

“That first half we were just passive”, Harden said.

Led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the Golden State Warriors rallied past the Miami Heat on Wednesday night to improve their history-chasing record to 51-5 on the season.

But what’s more incredible about this effort is the amount of points he scored from the free throw line.

Curry was 20-for-27 from the field, including 10-for-15 from 3-point range.

Harden scored 34 of his points in the second half, and Dwight Howard collected 19 points and 13 rebounds for the Rockets, who won for only the fourth time in 11 outings and ended Portland’s six-game winning streak. Jordan is commonly considered the greatest National Basketball Association player of the modern era, but Curry may be the most beloved. Then came the half-court heave that in the reigning MVP’s case seemed like a layup.

Curry now has 276 3-pointers this season, leaving him only 10 away from his own record set last season. It’s a record that is nearly certain to be obliterated.

Magic: Fournier led Orlando with 20 points.

That overcame the powerhouse duo of guard Russell Westbrook, who scored a game-high 44 points, and forward Kevin Durant, who added 32 points and 14 rebounds.

All the way across the country, the Warriors were mobbed by fans after Curry’s outburst.

As for Curry, he was his typical self after the game.
