Xbox boss unveils greatest feature in the consoles history
– Reputation rating interface changes: The Xbox Live community is comprised overwhelmingly of players with positive reputations, and so, the vast majority of profiles are rated “good.’ As a result, we are changing our reputation interface to draw attention only to players who have been rated “needs work” or “avoid me”. In fact, we’re more exposed because it shows how many people are actually using our platform and service every month and reporting that publicly. “To me, that’s what our brand stands for”.

“It’s not how many consoles I sell”.
From a third-party side, outside of its own studios, Spencer says he’s “asked a lot about JRPGs, and why don’t we have stronger support in Japan”.

You will see us coming up with new hardware capabilities during this generation, allowing the old and future titles to be compatible because we have a universal Windows application that runs on top of the platforms.
Currently, Microsoft is developing HoloLens, the augmented reality device first revealed in 2015, while Sony is competing with Oculus and Vive via PlayStation VR.
The awesome Prison Architect game which has already been made available on PC is now available as a game preview for the Xbox One and is now available to download directly from the Xbox online store.
“That’s our goal”, said Spencer.

“We see on other platforms whether it be mobile or PC that you get a continuous innovation that you rarely see on console”, he said. Indeed, the importance of UWA extends well beyond gaming; games are a big lure of any ecosystem however, and it is exactly because of this importance that the focus has been switched to building a full-fledged gaming cred for UWA, as Spencer reiterates. Xbox never had that….
