Toddler Falls out of Driving van, Saved by Passing Driver

It looks like a nightmare in the making, caught on video – a dashcam shows the tiny figure of a child tumbling from the back of a moving minivan onto the unyielding pavement of a bustling thoroughfare in China.

The footage was captured on a dash cam on the auto behind in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, on the morning of February 27, reports the People’s Daily Online.

After a split second, the boy gets up and starts running towards his grandfather’s vehicle but the auto drives off without.

Luckily the driver, identified as Jiang, immediately stopped, preventing the little boy from harm.

The child then chases the silver van as another driver alerts the boy’s grandfather, who comes back to pick him up.

Apparently uninjured from the fall, the kid was left standing on a busy road, as his ride hit the gas and left the scene of the freakish incident. “After passing the intersection a vehicle chased after me and kept sounding the horn”, Yang told CCTV.

Yang reportedly said his van boot had come loose after being rear-ended days earlier. Interestingly, the van driver had no idea that the child had fallen off and continued driving further, as the child ran after it.
