Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez Cast in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

Gutiérrez is going to star alongside Vin Diesel in the next installment of “xXx” called “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”.

Through no fault of her own, Gutiérrez became the most famous Miss Universe contestant never to win the prize when the pageant’s host, Steve Harvey, announced her as the victor instead of the actual one, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines.

Earlier, Gutierrez was said to have been offered $1 million to star in a pornographic movie by Vivid Entertainment Inc.

TMZ is reporting that Gutierrez will play Vin Diesel’s love interest in the upcoming sequel to his 2002 blockbuster “xXx”. The film also stars Donnie Yen, Ruby Rose, Tony Collette, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Samuel L. Jackson and is set for release next year. There have been persistent rumours that Ice Cube might also show up to reprise his role as xXx: State Of The Union’s Darius Cole, but nothing is confirmed about that yet. The site reports that she will appear in “six scenes and has three pages of dialogue”.

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is being directed by D.J. Caruso.

The story finds Diesel’s title character coming out of self-imposed exile to taken down an alpha warrior with a deadly weapon known as Pandora’s Box.
