Tottenham have been installed as favourites to win the Premier League for the first time ever following Leicester’s slip-up.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper completed a move from the Emirates back in the summer of 2014 on a free transfer and has so far been a regular feature.
The French coach is in no doubt about the reaction he is expecting from his players against a Swansea side who lie two places and three points above the relegation zone and are without a win in four league games.
Back-to-back defeats at home to Southampton and at Tottenham have left Swansea just three points outside the Premier League drop-zone.
“It was a joke, I laugh a little”, the Argentine told a news conference ahead of Wednesday’s visit to sixth-placed West Ham United. This is very important and I think our supporters recognise that.
Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester have 56 points from 27 matches while Spurs are on 54 and Arsenal have 51.
Swansea City assistant Alan Curtis took over the post-match comments for manager Francesco Guidolin on Sunday, as the head man spent the week fighting illness ahead of their clash with Tottenham Hotspur. He made some great saves – some of them were really world class – although to be fair their keeper made some good saves as well. When the team shows respect, it is not about winning or losing – it is about the respect they show for them and for the club that they play for.
“We dropped three important points, but we have to show we are up for the fight and bounce back on Wednesday night”, said the Frenchman.
Redknapp added: “If Manchester City don’t win at Liverpool tomorrow, you can write them off. It is a game you have got to go and win”.
Curtis reckons Swansea can take heart from their display against Spurs. “We have that collective and it is a big achievement for the squad and we need to protect that”. “For me, [the way] we try to stop them is always to defend as a team, so there’s no special attention on him”.

Tottenham tend to struggle against Manchester United but if they want to win a first title since 1960/1961 they may need to buck that trend when they host the Red Devils. “We have to patient and find the right solution”. The north London derby is a stand-out fixture in the Premier League calender at the best of times but rarely has it meant so much in terms of league ambitions.
