When Navy SEALs raided Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, in May 2011, they also seized things like bin Laden’s diary, his handwritten notes and letters, dozens of flash drives, and his porn collection.
The cache of 113 documents, which were reviewed by Reuters, were translated and declassified by U.S. intelligence agencies.
The newly released documents also reveal Bin Laden’s efforts to implement uniform bureaucratic standards across his terror networks worldwide.
Zarqawi “had clear instructions to focus his fighting against the invader occupiers, starting with the Americans, and to neutralize those willing to be neutral”, bin Laden said.
The group has been directed by al Qaeda’s former second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
“Tehran did not respond to that, so maybe you could attempt to work on releasing them to the Waziristan area of Pakistan, where we can make sure they are all right there with these tribes”, bin Laden wrote.
He called on Americans to launch “a great revolution for freedom” to liberate the US president from those influences.
“In terms of caution, I ask you to report to me in detail anything you find suspicious from any doctor in Iran, like if the syringe is the usual volume and its head has a slightly larger diameter than normal”, bin Laden wrote.
He wrote: “The size of the chip is about the length of a grain of wheat”.
In one letter, a Bin Laden ally from North Africa discusses a proposed truce with the government of Mauritania. Bin Laden wrote in the 22-page letter: “I felt obligated to transmit to you my comments and the comments of the brothers regarding some of the things that the book contained that contradict the facts that you and I and they witnessed…”
In an apparent attempt to seek rapport with readers, bin Laden says his “motivation” for the letter is the damage from enormous control of major companies that has “harmed your economy, as it did ours”.
After his wife visited a dentist in Iran, bin Laden was anxious that a tracking chip may have been implanted in his her dental filling.
An undated, unsigned document admitted that al-Qaida had executed four would-be volunteers on suspicion of spying, only to realize later they were probably innocent.
In a letter dated August 15, 2008, bin Laden asked that his father take care of his wife and children in the event he died first.

There is no mention in the documents to indicate how bin Laden got to the compound in Abbottabad, but one hints that he was clearly exhausted of living there. Though a chunk of the documents seized have not been declassified, but in what has been released so far, the fear of being tracked is a theme that resurfaces again and again.
