PlayStation blog page suggests No Man’s Sky will be full-priced release

What do you think of No Man’s Sky being priced at $59.99?

Last we heard, No Man’s Sky was expected to launch in June 2016 for PS4 and PC.

A slip-up on the US PlayStation Blog may have revealed a couple of details about the much anticipated No Man’s Sky.

At the time of writing the status at AMAZON has been updating to “Currently Unavailable”, might be because of the fact that the initial quota has been booked.

Given the source there’s no United Kingdom price, but $59.99 is the standard in the USA and if you go by what Doom is going for, which has the same price tag, that should mean No Man’s Sky will be £49.99.

In a graphic that has now been pulled, the game was listed as having a $60 RPP (making it a full-price title). It is possible that it was done for the hype or it was mistakenly included in the list.

Before you get too excited though that seems to be a reference to the date at which you can start pre-ordering, not the date it will be released.

Sony will likely make some sort of announcement tomorrow when pre-orders go live.

Murray added, “If people could see how hard this team is working, how intently, passionately and crazily…I’m pretty sure they’d tell us to ease off, to take a break”.

The listing has since been removed entirely, which was probably the most sensible damage control the PlayStation Blog could enact – but because this is the Internet, it’s only fuelled conspiracy theories.
