Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers skewer Donald Trump for dancing around KKK question
Though Trump has said multiple times that he disavows both Duke and the KKK, he is still being called upon to explain the remarks he made on CNN Sunday. “I have no problem with disavowing groups, but I’d at least like to know who they are”. Trump added that he disavowed David on all platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and more.

Republican leaders in Congress broke their silence on the presidential campaign Tuesday, upbraiding presidential candidate Donald Trump for failing to disavow the Ku Klux Klan and David Duke during a weekend television interview.
Late Night host Seth Meyers didin’t really believe that. “Don’t tell me he doesn’t know who the Ku Klux Klan is”.
“But what I heard was ‘various groups, ‘ and I don’t mind disavowing anybody”.
Joyce has said he filed suit because he fears if the Texas senator becomes the GOP nominee, Democrats will get him… “I think that voting sometimes is not a question of endorsing someone, but sometimes you vote strategically”. “OK, alright. I disavow, OK?” Trump specifies David Duke and “white supremacists” so he knew exactly what he was talking about. I hear various groups. Trump replied. “I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists”. He declined to denounce the white supremacist, saying he wasn’t aware of Duke or any groups he’s affiliated with.
In a Today Show interview Monday morning, Trump blamed his response on a “very bad earpiece” he was given at a house in Florida from which he was taping the CNN interview.
He said he’s also not concerned on polls that show him losing to Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in a general election matchup, but show his rivals Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz losing to her.
Ryan, the Wisconsin Republican, said “the conversation over the last few days has been over white supremacist groups”.
“Trump needs to know [David Duke] before condemning [him]or the KKK”.
The interview came after Duke announced he was backing Trump.
“They must reject any group or cause that is built on bigotry”, Ryan told reporters on Capitol Hill.
