After a sunny, windy day in central Oklahoma Monday with temperatures in the mid-70s, rain is in the Tuesday forecast.

Expect clearing skies through the morning, with a slight chance for light snow near the Tennessee border in western North Carolina.

Winds are strong through Wednesday, with gusts as high as 40 miles per hour. Tonight skies stay partly cloudy with winds settling, still breezy, and cold with temperatures in the lower 20s.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 74.

Friday Night…Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 30s.

The low on Sunday night is expected to drop to as low as 37 degrees.

Temperatures will warm up a bit over the weekend, with a high around 39 on a cloudy Saturday and 43 on a sunny Sunday.

Thursday will remain chilly, with a high temperature of 49 degrees.
