Fashion Designer Shipra Malik Goes Missing in Delhi
The call lasted a few seconds during which the woman did not say anything. “She would often make trips to Chandni Chowk to buy fabric and other raw materials”. Chetan is not happy with the investigation of her wife’s disappearance and wanted to know why senior police officers in Delhi and Noida were not involved in the case.

Shipra Malik was allegedly abducted on Monday with her auto found abandoned 500 m from her residence in Sector 37.
It’s not only Shipra Malik who has been reported missing from Noida in the recent days.
“It is unlikely that the woman would have been forcibly kidnapped from the spot her vehicle was found. It is a busy road and such an incident would not be missed by motorists passing by”, said Dinesh Yadav, SP (Noida City).
What gives some sort of weight to these fears is that the last number the woman had called from her mobile phone was 100, the police control room number.
Police said the victim had met her husband at Brahmputra market in Sector 29, just after leaving house on Monday afternoon. Her auto, a Maruti Swift with the registration number of DL 1C 1905, was found in Noida. Her vehicle could not be traced in the CCTV footage recovered from the DND flyway and Noida gate (Noida-Mayur Vihar link). “Her mobile was switched off since that afternoon”, he said, adding there was no dispute or enmity with anyone.
Sharad told police that Shipra had asked Chetan to accompany her to Chandani Chowk for some work, but Chetan had gone to a auto showroom in Delhi. When she had spoken to her brother on her phone at 1.23pm, her location was somewhere near GIP mall.
