NJ newspapers ‘fed-up’ and demand Christie resignation
As Donald Trump delivered his Super Tuesday victory speech to reporters, his most prominent endorser, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, stood stony-faced behind him, prompting a deluge of tweets comparing the former presidential candidate to a hostage.

Chris Christie’s awkward and expressionless performance introducing Donald Trump on Super Tuesday lit up the Web with sarcastic concern for the seemingly comatose New Jersey governor.
Newspapers and state lawmakers – including some Republicans – have in recent days said Christie should resign if he intends to actively campaign for Trump.
“I am proud to be here to endorse Donald Trump for president of the United States”, Christie said.
The newspaper’s scathing critique comes just one day after six other New Jersey newspapers – all owned by Gannett – also called for Christie to step down.
He hosted a press conference shortly after Mitt Romney delivered a scathing speech, where Romney told conservatives that they shouldn’t support Donald Trump if they want America to continue to prosper. Christie added that his 30th wedding anniversary is next week, but he is otherwise focused on state priorities, including a budget due in June.
But do these endorsements truly that much in a campaign? Newt, is it maybe you who’s being held hostage?
Ciattarelli said Christie should consider resigning if he spends “significant” time outside New Jersey campaigning than on his responsibilities as governor.
It has been 22 days since Christie dropped out of the race, he said, and he has been in state for 19 of them.
Christie’s office declined to comment on his appearance.
Between approval ratings below thirty percent at home and widespread pessimism from the Republican establishment on Trump’s chances of beating Hillary Clinton, Christie’s expectation of a long-term payoff could backfire considerably. But Beck said Trump has neither the temperament nor qualifications to be president. “Then I intend to leave to go to the private sector”.

The editorial also scolded Christie for holding a news conference at the Statehouse on Monday but limiting questions to only one topic. A new poll conducted by Morning Consult reveals the majority of Americans polled would love to see Ben Carson as Trump’s VP pick.
