23 July, 2015: In less than two weeks, team Xbox will be making its way to Cologne, Germany for gamescom 2015 and today, we’re excited to share more specific details about Xbox activities.
The Gamescom Xbox briefing will take place on Tuesday, August 4 at 7am PT / 10am ET. It is being developed by Rare. ReCore is an action-adventure game with a female protagonist, exploring the wasteland with her robot companion. Keep checking for updates from the conference starting August 4th. And not just any working demo; it has to be a different, or more improved one, from the last. However, two games that were revealed at E3 will be skipping the conference.
“The 60 minute live show will be hosted by Larry Hryb, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, Graeme Boyd, Xbox Live’s AceyBongos, and Julia Hardy, and will include guest stars and industry elites, including guests from top game studios that are creating wonderful games for Xbox One and Windows 10”. Quantum Break, Scalebound and Crackdown have all been confirmed for the show.

Considering how far off these games are from final release, and the fact that we got a decent look at each, albeit via a CG trailer in Recore’s case, this does certainly make sense.
