Nintendo has announced Paper Mario: Color Splash, a Wii U exclusive action-adventure now in development at Intelligent Systems.

Paper Mario Color Splash looks like Paper Mario wandered into Splatoon, or Super Mario Sunshine.
The title will launch later this year – check out the first media from it below. Mario will use his paint hammer to restore color to the island, including one example shown in the Direct that featured reanimating some colorless Toads. There are special cards available that will deliver devastating attacks.
