Romney: Trump’s “imagination must not be married to real power”

THE nightmare of a Donald Trump presidency is closer than ever to coming true today after the big-haired buffoon won a string of victories in his fight to be the Republican candidate.

“The Koch brothers induced the billionaire hedge fund manager, Paul Singer, to put $25 million into Rubio and another $75 million into another stop-Trump campaign”.

Donald Trump may have dominated the GOP’s Super Tuesday primaries, but he hasn’t yet guaranteed his foothold on the party’s ticket.

The strength of her showing left her rival for the Democratic nomination, left-wing Senator Bernie Sanders, with little chance of catching her even though he won four states.

Donald Trump will go toe-to-toe with debate moderator Megyn Kelly for the first time since the candidate got into a feud with the Fox News host after she asked him about his previous comments about women in the first Republican debate.

Cruz and Rubio, meanwhile, have respectively attracted traditional conservatives plus evangelicals, and Republicans who valued experience along with their party’s victory in a general election.

“She wants to make America whole again”, Trump retorted in a speech of his own.

She was assured of winning at least 457 of the 865 delegates at stake on Tuesday. “Once we get all of this finished, I’m going to go after one person – that’s Hillary Clinton”, he said.

In the Democratic field, Clinton won Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Speaking with reporters in Detroit on Thursday, Kasich said that if he wins OH, “I’m going to go to the convention, and I’m going to be the nominee…”

Still, Burkett noted that many Republicans are simply waiting to see what happens in other states before making a final decision. He also criticized Cruz for not performing better during Super Tuesday.

New York, where Clinton served as a U.S. Senator from 2001 to 2009, holds its Republican and Democratic primaries on April 19.

House GOP Whip Steve Scalise brushed off Trump’s comment about Ryan, telling CNN on Wednesday, “Look, I think right now that’s probably his way of reaching out an olive branch to the speaker”.

To win enough delegates to claim the nomination, Trump would have to win 52 percent of the remaining delegates – a hard feat in a race with three or more candidates.
