Dead Island Definitive Collection Comes With 16-Bit Sidescroller
Deep Silver releases a trailer for Dead Island: Definitive Collection, which includes remastered versions of the original game and Dead Island: Riptide. The first two games have been “fully remastered” and will feature all the available DLC and patches, as one might expect. Back in July past year, listings temporarily popped up for the collection on South African retailer Loot.

Well, the rumours were true: Dead Island is getting the remaster treatment, and will be re-released this spring as part of a package called Dead Island: Definitive Edition.
If you missed out on Dead Island somehow during its run across several games, you might want to pony up for the Dead Island: Definitive Collection, especially as it seems as though it’s being paired with a new game.
Image Quality Enhancements Via Anti-Aliasing – The addition of more sophisticated anti-aliasing means that console players can now experience Dead Island without unsightly jaggies meaning a much cleaner look throughout. Well, plenty of repackaged Dead Island of course. Mostly we’re fans of these games because developers Techland took everything they’d learned to create the superior undead parkour title Dying Light which we’re still enjoying today.

Xbox One console owners will be able to play the games in the Dead Island zombie action series for the first time on May 31.
