Viewer’s Guide: GOP debate about Trump vs. everyone else
There were reports that the party’s establishment was trying to gang-up against him.

With Ben Carson’s exit from the race this week, the field of Republican candidates has now been narrowed to four, but any number of predictions that GOP voters would unite behind one anti-Trump candidate have come and gone without a change in the overall dynamic.
Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday that he laughed out loud when he heard Donald Trump issue a somewhat odd threat against him on Super Tuesday.
The billionaire businessman and reality-television star has scored easy majorities in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia.
Campaign rivals Ted Cruz, who won three states Tuesday, and Marco Rubio, who won one, have also argued that Trump would lose a general election to Hillary Clinton and drag down other GOP candidates with him. While the two share views on certain conservative principles, such as border control, national debt, and plans to defeat ISIS, Brown said it’s also important to support Trump because he’s the Republican Party’s front-runner, and choosing to vote for someone else-or to abstain from voting-will only help the Democratic contender.
Senator Rubio pressed Mr Trump on why he does not bring his clothing-making operations to the United States from China and Mexico if he is so interested in bringing jobs home, a central tenet of his unconventional campaign. “They aren’t joining for Marco Rubio”, he said.
“We began to unmask the true nature of the frontrunner so far in this race five days ago”.
Still, Brown, who endorsed Trump before the New Hampshire primary, was quick to note that he and the Donald don’t see eye-to-eye on everything.
“We either have a country or we don’t”, he said. We are seeing (it) in state after state. “I feel like it’s getting boring”.
But Mr Trump’s vote did not go down on the day.
In a Twitter storm earlier this morning, Trump declared that establishment Republicans like Romney want to “kill the movement” that he has ignited among discontented voters. “I’ve done it twice already”, he said.
“I’m going to get along great with Congress”, Trump said. “I can’t act overly presidential because I’m going to have people attacking from every side”.
“I continue to believe that Trump will not be president, and the reason is that I have a lot of faith in the American people and I think they recognize that being president is a serious job”, he said.
In a pre-debate interview with Reuters, Kelly said, “Frankly, I have been ready for seven months to move beyond what happened after that August debate”. They’re not going to abandon him at the last second for Mitch McConnell. Even you will be very proud of me as a president.

Some 1.8 million 18 to 29-year-olds turned out to vote yesterday, with some states experiencing participation levels that rivaled the historic 2008 election, according to the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement at Tufts University.
