The original film centered on a couple (Rogen and Byrne) whose neighborhood was turned upside down when a fraternity moved in next door.
Variety first reported the casting. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien, who will also act as executive producers along with Nathan Kahane and Joe Drake. The specifics of her role are unknown, but given how effectively Moritz tormented Alec Baldwin’s Jack Donaghy during her time on 30 Rock, we can easily imagine her as an even bigger foil for Rogen than Efron was. Rogen, Efron and Rose Byrne will be reprising their roles from the original film.
Rogen and Goldberg will return to produce under their Point Grey banner along with trusted collaborator James Weaver. She also starred in the romance movie “If I Stay” and appeared alongside Denzel Washington in “The Equalizer“.

Universal confirmed earlier this year that a sequel is in the works and has scheduled a release date of May 13, 2016. The busy actress’ current projects include Clouds of Sils Maria with Juliette Binoche and Kristen Stewart, the adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s Dark Places, Sony’s YA adaptation The 5th Wave and November Criminals.
