South Africa and Australia will be seeking to find their best combinations when they meet in three Twenty20 internationals, shortly before both sides travel to India for the World Twenty20 tournament.

David Miller blasted an unbeaten 53 as South Africa chased down a target of 158 to beat Australia by three wickets in Durban and take a 1-0 series lead.

“We have excellent players of spin in our team and guys that have got worldwide experience over in India as well”.

“A hungry, fit, energised Dale is a massive plus for us”, South Africa head coach Russell Domingo said.

“He is an experienced bowler, whether he is bowling four overs or 10 overs in one-day cricket, so it’s not a big train smash for us”, Domingo explained.

South Africa have been in good form in the shortest format and trounced England recently.

“We can’t wait to play host to Friday’s exciting encounter between two of the world’s top cricket nations”, he added. Finch conceded that with the World Twenty20 in India coming up later this month, the Australians would need to adapt their approach against spin, especially if a few dot balls do slow them down.

Australia enter this series at the back of a Test series win in New Zealand but after having been crushed at home by India in a T20I series.

LIVE CRICKET SCORE & UPDATES, AUS 72/3 in 8 overs: Steven Smith 1(7), Glenn Maxwell 1(2): Finch has thrown away such a fantastic start in the most regrettable way.

“When you’ve got [Imran] Tahir who can spin it both ways it probably doesn’t have that much of an affect”. Against South Africa, the batting will have to face up to Imran Tahir, who took five wickets in the two T20I wins against England. He has been very successfully and he played really well in the IPL previous year.

More importantly, though, South Africa have a genuine match-winning spinner in Imran Tahir who has shown an ability to control passages of play by taking wickets and limiting runs. He is a handy batsman to have in the lower-order, but you would expect that in the majority of the games he wouldn’t be required to bat.

But Wiese changed the course of the innings by getting rid of Warner for 20 off 11 balls as the Australia guided the ball to Duminy at point.

Mitchell Marsh gave the innings late impetus, hitting 35 off 25 balls.
