Obama’s oldest daughter Malia is expected to go to university this autumn. She will be a Sophomore at the exclusive Sidwell Friends School in Washington at the end of her father’s term.
While 80 percent of this group live with incomes below the Federal Poverty Level, over 70 percent have at least one full-time worker in their family.
Obama is not the first president to decide to stay in D.C. after the presidency had ended.

“While the Obama’s haven’t chosen a final destination, NY and California have been floated as possibilities”, says The Hill.

Obama visited Milwaukee to congratulate local leaders for winning a national health insurance enrollment contest.
More than 38,000 Milwaukee-area residents newly signed up for health coverage. “Tough”, he said to an audience question in Wisconsin.
“We are going to keep working to make health care even better”, Obama said.
President Barack Obama on Thursday announced that his signature health care law has signed up 20 million Americans since its inception six years ago. Put simply to not take up too much of your time if you are in fact taking the time to read this: I would not be alive without access to care I received due to your law. That’s the kind of work that I really love to do’.

Obama said facts “do not comport with conviction” for Republicans who have argued for repealing the act.
