Scott Kelly: ‘It seemed like I’d lived there forever’
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) Fresh from a year in space, NASA astronaut Scott Kelly says his muscles and joints ache.

When returning to Earth, US astronaut Scott Kelly found it very hard to adjust when he returned this week. NASA said that’s pretty normal for an astronaut, in the absence of full strength gravity pressing down on gel-filled discs between the vertebrae in the spine, they expand and lengthen.
Kelly descended to Earth on Tuesday, landing in the Kazakhstan desert in a capsule with two Russian cosmonauts. Throughout the year, Mark Kelly said he came to Johnson Space Center in Houston four times, and on other occasions, NASA came to him in Arizona for tests.
Kelly told reporters the year passed slowly in space, but he could have stayed longer if it was for “a good reason”, such as a mission to Mars.
Kelly praised the teamwork of each of the 13 U.S., Russian, European and Japanese space fliers with whom he and Kornienko lived during the past year. The NASA astronaut, along with cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko, will say goodbye to the International Space Station later today in the hopes of returning…
According to a press release from Americans for Responsible Solutions, United States Navy combat veteran and retired NASA astronaut Captain Mark Kelly issued the following statement following his brother astronaut Scott Kelly’s return to the United States after a 340-day mission aboard the International Space Station.
Scott Kelly landed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday morning, and arrived in Houston to hugs and American treats a day later. “If going to Mars takes two years or two-and-a-half years, that’s doable”.
Kelly holds the US record for total days in space – 520 days over four missions. He spent 340 days aboard the International Space Station.
Kelly’s mission helped advance studies on deep space.
Kelly’s mission was a first step for NASA. Kelly also tweeted over a thousand photos of space over the duration of his trip including lovely photos of Earth’s sunrise.
One study not related to the fact that Scott Kelly is a twin evaluated fluid shifts in the body that happen during weightlessness. Despite the busy schedule, he has had the opportunity to take a dip in his pool and have a family dinner, two things he said he wanted to do as soon as he got back to Earth.
“I think everyone should be able to go to space”, he added.
Biden brought the astronaut beer and apple pie.
The latest NASA news is so interesting that space enthusiasts would definitely want to try a spaceflight exploration.

“This was something we could share together and it made the experience more rewarding, rather than just our conversations on a daily basis”, he said.
