Kanhaiya is more ‘deshbhakt’ than BJP: Nitish

The sacrifices of our (army) jawans and our farmers who commit suicide… and Rohith Vemula… will not go waste.

While the BJP are strictly against Kanhaiya, the oppositions like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Sitaram Yechury are praising the Students leader for his speech in the university after the release.

Shouting “victory” slogans for Kanhaiya, students later marched from Sabarmati Dhaba, during the night hours. I am a student which is why I am not thinking about it now. As I dream of becoming a teacher, I believe in answering questions.

Returning to a hero’s welcome in the university after spending three weeks in detention over sedition charges, JNU students’ union president Kanhaiya Kumar delivered a powerpacked political speech. According to the probe report, anti-national slogans were shouted at the campus and JNU administration has already identified a “few faces” who were “clearly” heard raising them, PTI had reported.

The court while granting Kumar bail had instructed him not to indulge in anti national activities. Have faith in judiciary.

“Despite all efforts, they (government) have not been able to fabricate truth”.

– Constitution is not a video that can be doctored.

After Kanhaiya Kumar’s release on bail, the other two arrested students – Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya – are also likely to seek bail.

– I want to thank all those who supported me. “I am a student leader of this university and will always fight for students’ rights”, he said when asked about his political plans.

“There are some dark clouds…”

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kanhaiya said,”Modi ji, when you talk about Stalin and Khruschuv, please talk about Hitler and Mussolini also”. The rain will push away the dark clouds. “It’s not just Left supporters which stood by me but also those who haven’t been able to decide whether they should hold the left flag or the right are also coming out in support of JNU”, he said.

“I request the government to not use words like “sedition” and destroy the future of university students”, he said. “We want freedom from capitalism, from brahminism, from casteism, this is the kind of freedom that we want”, he added. But “a freedom in India and not from India”.

“We fight for equality”.

He said that there was a huge difference in committing treason and being anti-government. Videos from various channels, other videos from YouTube and videos made by the JNU security team were also examined.

“The government of the country is the government of one party”.

After spending 23 days in jail based on no evidence Kanhaiya Kumar didn’t seem the worse for wear. In fact jail seemed to have been a shot of energy in his arm
