Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz Staredown Nearly Erupts Into a Massive Brawl
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor (L) and lightweight contender Nate Diaz (R) are held apart by Dave Sholler (C), UFC vice president of public relations, after a news conference at UFC Gym February 24, 2016, in Torrance, California. Diaz flipped off McGregor as UFC commentator Joe Rogan asked for his comments. Your teammate Gil (Melendez) and Jake (Shields) were two caught on steroids.

The UFC featherweight division could get a fresh look if champion Conor McGregor is victorious in his welterweight bout against Nate Diaz at UFC 196.
“I’m going to toy with the young boy, I’m going to play with him”, said McGregor. “They don’t take risks, and people who don’t take risks will never climb to that next level”.
Conor thinks he might break out his Meia Lua kick on Nate Diaz.
McGregor has even said that he is interested in a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather, but realistically, he wants his next fight to be for the welterweight championship against Robbie Lawler. McGregor has been doing his usual taunting and belittling of an opponent, such as telling Diaz at the press conference, “Your little gazelle friends are going to be staring at you through the cage, watching you get eaten alive”.
McGregor was originally supposed to be in a super fight with Rafael Dos Anjos, but as we all know, RDA dropped out from a broken foot.
Conor McGregor’s next fight won’t happen until Saturday but he is already looking forward to another.
Don’t forget to keep MMANews.com in mind for your source of UFC 196: McGregor vs. Diaz live round-by-round results coverage on Saturday evening. So, it’s unlikely that McGregor will be hit with a fine for slapping Diaz’s hand away. “Ok 160…then comes back a bit later…’oh no 165”.
