The theft, from the Larne fire station in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, will have huge implications for the community, fire fighters said.

Two men aged 66 and 19 are being questioned by police after a fire engine was stolen from a station and driven into nearby cars and houses.
Meanwhile the Fire Service added: “NIFRS have initiated their business continuity arrangements to ensure fire cover is maintained within the Larne area”.
One of the males was conveyed to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Both men are now in police custody.
“As a result, the scene on the Glenarm Road this morning looks like something out of an action film and the people responsible have caused thousands of pounds worth of damage”. The fire company will be “reviewing their security arrangements”, he said.
“I was fast asleep in bed around 4.30am and then there was this horrendous bang and flashing lights – we just didn’t know what was happening”, he said.
The fire station was damaged, as was a auto which flipped on to its roof.
