Jamie Carragher believes Jurgen Klopp should drop Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno after the pair’s performances in Liverpool’s defeat against Manchester City in the Capital One Cup final.

Emre Can scored the Reds’ first penalty following a 1-1 draw after extra-time before City goalkeeper Willy Caballero made three saves in a row.
“We deserved to win the game, we missed chances”.
Manchester City’s Yaya Toure celebrates scoring during the penalty shoot-out with teammates.
Pellegrini came in for criticism for selecting a youthful team nearly completely devoid of recognizable names for City’s trip to Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup fifth round, which Chelsea won 5-1.
“We have to play for another 36 points yet so we are not going to give up”.
“If I could choose to win in any way, it would be this: with Willy as the hero”, Pellegrini said, crediting Hart for his role in the victory as well.
Their next league outing will be on March 3 away to their cup final rivals Liverpool at Anfield.
Klopp explained that Daniel Sturridge was not chosen to take a spot-kick because he was exhausted having only recently returned from a long injury lay-off. It’s unlucky, but it’s one way to lose in a cup final. “We are disappointed of course”.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Klopp vowed that his side would “strike back” after this loss.
“You have to feel how it is to lose”.
“But you have to feel how it is like this – it’s not the best moment”.
“Tonight we feel rubbish-shit”.
Klopp felt Liverpool had a really strong first half, but admitted they were too open for periods in the second 45, which allowed City to exploit space and counter dangerously.
“You know you can fall down, but you have to stand up”.
“If we carry on, work really hard, there is light at the end of the tunnel”.
“It was a hard week for me but we had a talk that we could do it, and this is a first trophy for me and my family in Argentina”.

Daniel Sturridge could start from the bench after the England worldwide played all 120 minutes last time out and this could offer a chance for either Christian Benteke or Divock Origi to lead the line.
