On the contrary, Tyagi charged, Modi had not done anything on the promises he had made to the people of state during his Lok Sabha election campaign in 2014.

“Intelligence reports said the suicide bomber may target Modi disguised as a mediaperson, police official, electrician, an organizer, caterer or laborer”, said officials.

Even the land for the new IIT campus Modi will inaugurate in Bihar was provided by Kumar when Arjun Singh was the HRD Minister during UPA-I. “Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the Jagdishpur-Haldia gas pipeline in Patna on July 25 that will also provide the gas connectivity to the Barouni fertiliser plant”, a source said.

Modi is scheduled to visit Patna, the state capital of Bihar, on Saturday and address a rally at Muzaffarpur district there.

Though Modi’s security is looked after by the Special Protection Group, the Bihar government has directed senior officials to make special security arrangements for his rally, the official said.
