Warriors Beat Thunder Again; NBA Scores On Mar 3

The Warriors prevailed for the third time this season, defeating the Thunder 121-106, tying the 1995-96 Chicago Bull’s home winning streak record. They bring [out] the best of us and I’m sure that competition is what we all live for.

Being a Los Angeles native, I especially hate how he and the Golden State Warriors rarely lose a game.

The defending champion Golden State Warriors haven’t stopped all season, and continued their excellence on Thursday night.

With Shaun Livingston leading the way at point guard with 11 points, eight assists and three steals, the Warriors turned a one-point deficit heading into the fourth quarter into a six-point lead.

The advantage was just 99-97 before Draymond Green scored from the interior with 5:47 left, triggering the game-breaking, 10-0 run.

Though the Warriors would love to add the single-season win record to an already long list of accomplishments this year, the players will certainly trust Kerr’s judgment.

LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 26 points, while Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

The Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Golden State Warriors in one of the college basketball games on Thursday, start time at 10:30 PM ET, at ORACLE Arena, Dallas Texas.

Russell Westbrook had a poor night shooting, making just 8 of 24 and one of eight from 3-point range.

“Resting, that will take precedence”, Kerr said via Yahoo. “If we want to win a bunch of games during the regular season, it’s cool, but we’re fooling ourselves the way we’re playing”. We’ll see how Kerr handles this, though, but don’t be shocked to see rest matter more than record from here on out.

Curry returned to action after having sat out the Warriors’ previous win due to an ankle injury, and was the game’s top scorer with 33 points, including five 3-pointers. “I’m not trying to shy away from them”.

Klay Thompson scored 21 points, and Green and Harrison Barnes added 14 apiece. “When you hear, honestly, legends, kind of come at you, it’s kind of just weird”, he said. Curry (left ankle) and forward Andre Iguodala (left hamstring tightness) are questionable against Oklahoma City. Abdul-Rauf had career averages of 14.6 points per game, 1.9 rebounds per game and 3.5 assists per game.

NOTES: The Warriors’ season-series sweep of Oklahoma City was their first in franchise history, dating back to 1967, when the Thunder was known as the Seattle SuperSonics…. Curry won the Western Conference player of the month award for February, becoming the first Warriors player to win the award twice in one season.

The Warriors have an unimposing stretch coming up with games against the Lakers, Magic, Jazz, Suns, Pelicans and Knicks within the next 10 days. “Abdul-Rauf was listed at 6’1″ and 162 pounds during his playing career while Curry is listed at 6’3” and 185 pounds.
