Chris Rock Sells Girl Scout Cookies at Oscars
While doing his hosting duties, Rock told the audiences at the star-studded event to buy his daughters Girl Scout cookies. The 51-year-old father of two worked round the clock while he crafted his 2016 Oscar opening monologue, which meant he missed out on some valuable time with his girls.

On Sunday, Chris Rock did a staged bit where he sent Girl Scouts into the audience to sell cookies during the telecast.
Shortly after Archibishop Carlson made this declaration, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri raised a record amount of money at its annual fundraiser.
Girl Scouts are out and about at various locations selling your favorite cookies! Were not saying that we think Michael B. Jordan is about to start spitting game at Girl Scouts, but we have to say we agree with Chris Rocks assertion that he can now get pretty much any woman that he wants.
“Once we pay the baker for the box of cookies, all the money stays in the state of Alaska in the Girl Scout program”, Girl Scouts Alaska CEO Sue Perles said. “My kids were handing out Girl Scout cookies to all the celebrities around them”.
Rock later said his daughters’ troop came in second a year ago after selling $600 worth of the cookies.
The 10 young girls who ran through the aisles exchanging cookies for cash from the celebs-Christian Bale went for the thin mints, while Leo took home Trefoils-were members of the Inglewood troop.
UPDATE: Later in the show, Chris Rock revealed that his stunt had raised $65,243.
Seeing celebrities doing normal every day things always makes for good TV.
