Delegate math: Rubio, Kasich wins key to stopping Trump

Arnold Schwarzenegger on Sunday officially endorsed Republican candidate John Kasich for president in a short Snapchat video.

The lieutenant govenor planned to join Kasich at a campaign event Friday evening in Holland.

Coverdill says she’s looking for the candidate who will get the country’s economy back on track. “Gov. John Kasich is a noteworthy exception”.

“I’m the last governor standing, there are only four of us, we’re the little engine that can so believe in us”, Kasich said. He is an author, former radio host, and president of the Reagan Legacy Foundation.

Kasich also tried to paint himself as an anti-establishment candidate. “My only fear of the convention is that these connected interests would dominate”.

A onetime Republican presidential hopeful who hasn’t always had kind words for Ted Cruz says it’s clear that the Texas senator has emerged as the best chance to derail Donald Trump’s path to the nomination.

That would make Kasich more competitive as he has just 25 delegates thus far, with a handful of second-place wins in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Vermont. “Get over it”, he said after rattling off his record of reforming welfare, cutting taxes and regulations, shrinking the size of state government, promoting school choice and creating jobs. He also talked at length about his time in Washington on the budget committee – stressing the need to come up with Republican solutions, not merely existing to bash those put forward by Democrats.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has events in Idaho – rallies in Idaho Falls and Boise – ahead of the state’s primary on Tuesday.

Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida will address the group Saturday.

And last month, Rubio and Cruz released summaries of their returns in order to highlight Trump’s reluctance to reveal his own.

In the meantime, there are two more election days to prepare for.

“My wife and I argued today about who we should vote for”, said one Michigander. “In the end, everybody got together”, Kasich said.

On ABC, Kasich disputed Stephanopoulos’ theory that Kasich’s strategy was as a “spoiler” for Trump, saying he was running because he has “the record and the vision to run the United States of America”.

“If you think there’s a third rail, don’t run”, he said.
