While the update is good news, most of the fans would be disappointed because this doesn’t bring the much-awaited Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

OnePlus has unveiled two smartphones previous year, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The OnePlus 2 is a direct successor to their first ever smartphone / flagship, the OnePlus One, while the OnePlus X represents the company’s mid-range, even more affordable offering.

OnePlus recently started rolling out the update that will upgrade the Oxygen OS for the OnePlus 2 to version 2.2.1. Smartphone photography enthusiasts already know the advantages of RAW photo support, but what you should know about the RAW standard is that it serves a full representation of the image captured by the camera sensor (hence its name). Back in September, OnePlus added RAW camera support for third party apps looking to make use of the format, and now the native OnePlus camera also supports shooting in RAW. The RAW camera support will be appreciated, and it’s nice to see OP keeping up with security patches. The update additionally fixes the occasional image corruption issue in the OnePlus 2 camera. Last but not least, Romanian language support has been added to OnePlus 2 too.

You’ll also find that compatibility for Bluetooth devices and Ultra SIM has been improved, along with a GMS 3.0 upgrade. Furthermore, the new version of the OS also patches some known security bugs. If you haven’t received the update yet, you might want to wait as update may take sometime to reach your device.
