A 10,000-ton freight train has smashed into a limousine stuck on the tracks at a level crossing as it carried a group of teenagers celebrating a birthday.

Desperate bystanders try and flag the train down – one can he heard shouting: “He’s not going to stop”.

Norman Noe, of Studio Noe Productions, filmed the incident as it happened. “It’s not gonna stop!” someone shouts as the train whistle blows.

The crash took place in New Paris, Indiana on July 18.

The photographer continues filming as he runs to the front of the train to see the damage, as a bystander who alerted the driver says: “Did you see me?” “I got 10,000 ton behind me though”.
