The Division Has 26 Single-Player Missions, According to Leak
Ubisoft also recently detailed the game’s free updates, which will be available at the same time on all platforms when they become available. Starting in June, paid downloadable content will arrive for the game, starting with Underground, which takes players under the streets of New York City while adding a new faction and more equipment, with two other packages set to arrive in late 2016 and early next year.
“The Incursions update will add an endgame activity designed for squad play, challenging teams of four players to face nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot”, Ubisoft explained on their official blog post.
The data-mining has also unearthed references to Brooklyn, which is not in the game at launch but which may be being saved for DLC. “Survival, the second paid expansion, tests players’ ability to survive and gather crucial supplies in an incredibly hostile environment”.
What we do know is that players will be on a relatively even playing field when hunting down these unique weapons.
We are continuing our coverage of The Division now as we countdown to the global launch times for the game.
If you’re the kind of gun nut who has a Charlton Heston poster on the wall opposite your collection of actual rifles that are purely there for home defense and to encourage responsible dating when suitors come to see your daughter, then more good news: The Division will have lots of guns.
