Titans securing DeMarco Murray in trade with Eagles
Action News has learned that Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray is finalizing a deal that will send him to the Tennessee Titans.

Johnson and Titans officials felt comfortable enough Monday night that the trade now is expected to be officially completed Wednesday.
The Eagles will save $4 million in salary cap space with the trade, but they will also take a $4 million hit.
With the Eagles seemingly pretty eager to get rid of him, it appears the moves went rather smoothly. The team will save $4.9 million in cap room by trading Maxwell.
Murray signed a hefty five-year, $40 dollar deal with the Eagles last offseason, but he struggled on the field in former coach Chip Kelly’s offense.
While Murray publicly said all the right things in 2015, it was clear he wasn’t happy about the situation he found himself in. The running back has publicly denied those feelings. Stories of his unhappiness – even one where he voiced his frustration to owner Jeff Lurie on the team plane – surfaced throughout the year.
Murray’s agent was given permission to seek a trade out of Philadelphia, ESPN.com reported, and he specifically sought out the Titans as a destination.
