Verizon Warming up for Galaxy S5 Marshmallow Update with New Security Patches
Samsung released the Android 6.0 update for the Galaxy S6 yesterday and with it, you can enjoy the latest goodies that are packed inside the latest generation Android OS. Or did you notice any improvement after the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update? If you own the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge or Galaxy Note 5, then you will be among the first to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The guys at Sammobile are reporting that the support center of Samsung’s United Kingdom division has confirmed on Twitter to one Galaxy Tab A user that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow for this specific device is under development.
T-Mobile customers will have to wait a while, however, as the official T-Mobile software update page lists the upgrade process for the Note 5 as remaining in the manufacturer development phase.
The update has already been released in some countries and many Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge owners report they have successfully captured it, but no scheduler is available, so we can’t say which country the update will hit next. LG’s update is only about 700MB, but WiFi would still be a good idea.
Samsung’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow schedule leaked last week via Phone Arena. However, Verizon has jumped the gun and released the much awaited software upgrade for its Galaxy Note 5 users.
However, users can expect, for the Xperia Z5 in particular that certain Sony and Google software features won’t be included in this update. It’s also expected that Verizon’s HTC One M8 will start receiving Android Marshmallow from March 7. What other problem did you come across?

The update is now rolling to handsets parried up with the carrier NTT DoCoMo and comes with the 32.1.F.0.43 build number. It’s certainly going to disappoint Malaysian Samsung fans who had plans to get an S7; their only option is probably to buy one from neighbouring Singapore or pony up the higher prices from sellers such as Directd.
