Disney ‘in talks for 10 Star Wars films’
When asked whether the new director Rian Johnson is just as secretive as J.J. Abrams, Ridley said that the director “wants to be a bit cheekier with the little titbits of information that are going out”. However, there will be a different director as J.J. Abrams will no longer reprise his duties.

Despite its release arriving in December 2017, there are two rumoured titles circulating the internet.
Rumours suggest that Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Benicio Del Toro will be filming their scenes at this location, however, the actors have so far not been spotted near the set of “Star Wars: Episode 8”.
Solo films for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu are reportedly among the ideas being discussed. One of the rumors concerns the return of Hayden Christensen to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
“It’s still very lovely and warm and friendly”. “I think we did do that for VII, just a little bit to keep the interest piqued”. He then says, “Beautiful” and then an image of the number VIII is seen in bright yellow type over a starry scape, before the director announces: ‘Ladies and gentleman welcome to Episode VIII.’ The crowd roars.
So far the plot of the Star Wars Episode VIII is a complete mystery. Luke is a Jedi recluse, Leia is a General, Han Solo is well you know.
A better title – and fan favorite for the film – might be Rise of the First Order, which mirrors Empire Strikes Back but it makes little sense since the First Order seems to already be established as a threat in the galaxy.

We understand that many of these would revolve around a single character.
