As per Sandili, Smriti Irani walked out of the auto after being hit, and she went to her destination in another vehicle.

“The auto of the minister hit us from behind. Unfortunately the police vehicle before mine and my auto also crashed”, she narrated the incident, assuring her well-wishers that she was unhurt. She had also tweeted that she had tried to help the injured who were lying on the road. “She was tweeting about her safety”.

Smriti Irani was returning to Delhi after attending a BJP youth convention in Mathura where she had chided Rahul Gandhi for calling himself a youth despite the fact that he is in late 40s.

“Smriti Irani’s convoy rammed into our auto”.

“The bike was hit by a Honda City (car)”. She came out of her auto and immediately made calls for help after I explained the situation to her.

According to Sandili, Smriti Irani has neglected the pleading of the victims during the time of accident.

The girl’s father had claimed that his child could have been saved if the MP was taken to hospital along with the actress.

PTI news agency quoted a statement as saying that the vehicle which hit Mr Nagar’s motorbike “had nothing to do with HRD [Human Resource Development] Minister’s cavalcade as being run in section of media” . She came out of her vehicle to see us. “Rather, Minister directed SSP Mathura to arrange ambulance immediately so that injured could be given medical treatment at the earliest”, said the HRD Ministry spokesperson.
