Sanders: Clinton mischaracterizing stance on auto bailout

Rubio, a first-time Senator from Florida, is the Republican party establishment’s last hope of stopping frontrunner Donald Trump, who has the party in complete panic.

The problem is “symbolic of what is going on” in urban America, Sanders said during his opening remarks at the CNN debate.

Clinton and Sanders have faced off in forums two consecutive nights this week, with a debate Sunday night in Flint, Mich., and a Fox News town hall style-event on Monday evening.

Fifty-three percent of Democratic primary voters support Clinton while 44 percent back Sanders, the poll showed. With 100% of the votes counted on the island, Rubio topped the 50% threshold required to win all 23 of Puerto Rico’s delegates.

Baier did not waste any time peppering Hillary Clinton about the email investigation that seems to have consumed her campaign.

Clinton and Sanders are expected to answer questions on a number of national and local issues, including the auto industry bailout as well as Detroit schools and racial inequality.

They exchanged accusations on economy and trade, with Clinton saying her rival voted against a bailout of the USA auto industry in 2009. The Democratic candidates need 2,383 to win the nomination.

Last year, the Sanders campaign laughed off any talk of being Clinton’s running mate by suggesting that they would consider her to be Sen.

For Democrats, 13 more states will hold a primary or caucus through March 26.
