Sanders wins MI in stunning upset
A new poll indicates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton could be headed for easy wins in Tuesday’s MI primary. Former Secretary of State Clinton leads the latest polls against Democrat challenger Sen. Sanders, meanwhile, leads Clinton among independents (59 percent to 35 percent), liberals (56 percent to 42 percent) and those younger than 50 (60 percent to 38 percent). Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has had trouble pulling ahead of Cruz, while Ohio Gov. John Kasich trails behind the others. Trump also won voters who said they wanted a president from outside the political establishment and those who described themselves as “angry” about how the federal government is working.

“What tonight means it that the Bernie Sanders campaign, the people’s revolution that we are talking about, is strong in every part of the country and frankly we believe that our strongest areas are yet to happen”.
Democratic leaders hope the candidate’s plans for manufacturing and infrastructure will benefit Northern Michigan by creating jobs, addressing the Line Five Pipeline and building a new Soo Lock.
“What I meant to say is when you talk about ghetto traditionally, what you’re talking about is African-American communities”, Sanders told reporters, according to NBC News.
If Clinton is able to win big in MS and MI, it may make Sanders’ math all but impossible-and the March 15 votes in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, and OH more of a coronation.
Sanders shot back that if people truly had a problem with the comment that Sanders made, they should look at the speaking time Clinton was given and at the number of times she interrupted the Senator.
The NRA posted an attached image quoting Sanders’ defense of his position during Sunday night’s Democratic debate in Flint, Michigan. Clinton last appeared on the network during her 2014 book tour when she was interviewed by Baier and Greta Van Susteren.

Bernie Sanders’ explanation during Sunday’s debate on why he voted against holding weapons manufacturers liable for gun violence won praise from the NRA.
